Born and raised in marin county, arj barker signed up for his first open mic at the age of 19, began touring nationally by the age of 22, and before long was winning festivals and making regular appearances on tv. Hardly a newcomer anymore, arj has appeared on "the tonight show" and "the late show with david letterman", and two of his own half-hour specials on comedy central. He’s been called “criminally talented” (among other things) and has also been seen performing ‘the marijuanalogues’ alongside fellow tokers, writers, and comedians tony camin and doug benson.
