First Baptist Church

The First Baptist Church of Portland is an historic downtown church with a long history of ministry and mission concern, from the local to the international level.

First Baptist Church is a “downtown church,” centered in a metropolitan area of just under two million people. More than half our church membership lives between two and ten miles from the church; about five percent live within two miles, and about ten percent live more than ten miles from downtown.
