"Pirates of the Caribbean" has had quite a ride, and I wouldn't bet that it's over, despite the seeming finality of "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," the most visually spectacular, action-packed and surreal of the adventures of Capt. Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).

We were falling asleep less than an hour into this movie. Not impressed at all, left theatre!

Could have been a 5 without Disney.

I think this movie was good as a whole, but there were definitely sections in it that dragged it down. When Calypso turns into a giants and proceeds to exit from the movie after doing almost nothing, I really had to wonder what the big deal was, and why all the pirates were so afraid if in the sea god's infinite rage she manages to sink 1 ship, and it sailed right for it. When Jack is trapped in the locker and going crazy, I really found myself enjoying the movie. It starting off with a Disney version of Les Miserables was pretty weak though.
